Music Day, which was part of the Shrewsbury Summer Season, took place
in the Town Square on Sunday 14th August 2005. |

event, organised by Chris Eldon Lee and Dave Bassett from the Buttermarket
Jazz and Roots Club, featured three top African Salsa and Reggae Bands
in the afternoon. |

evening's entertainment was provided by The Badgers and Maria Vincent
and the Millionaires. The
Badgers were joined on stage by double bass player Larry Melton, who
is on his annual visit to England from America, to perform gigs with
The Badgers, Dan Cassidy and Gary Potter. |
